Self Embodied Pragmatics Workshop

After 11 weeks of dutiful attendance, English majors enrolled on the Master's Course at Université Bordeaux Montaigne are invited to engage in the physical exploration of Goffman's theory of face, co-presence and ritual in 'everyday life'. A professional dancer-choreographer, Jean MAGNARD, himself a former M.A. student, assists Pr. Jean-Rémi LAPAIRE (who teaches linguistics, pragmatics and gesture studies at UBM).
